The DHI-NVR4232-16P-4KS3 is a 1U Dahua Lite Series Network Video Recorder designed for centralized recording and management of large IP surveillance systems. It supports 32 IP camera channels, while its 16 integrated PoE ports provide both network connectivity and power to compatible IP cameras through Ethernet cables. The PoE system provides a 130W total power budget, with up to 25.5W available per port.
The recorder supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP and provides up to 160 Mbps incoming bandwidth, 128 Mbps recording bandwidth, and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth when AI functions are disabled. Its decoding capability includes up to 1-channel 12MP, 2-channel 8MP, or 8-channel 1080p at 30fps, depending on the playback configuration.
For storage, the NVR features two SATA HDD interfaces, with each drive supporting up to 20TB. It also supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, and H.264 compression to help optimize storage capacity and network bandwidth.
The NVR incorporates intelligent surveillance capabilities including 2-channel SMD Plus by the recorder, while compatible cameras can provide face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection, people counting, stereo analysis, and heat-map functions.
