The Dahua DH-XVR5104HS-I2 is a 4-channel Compact 1U WizSense Digital Video Recorder that combines traditional analog surveillance with IP camera support. It accepts HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS, and IP video inputs, making it suitable for upgrading existing CCTV installations without replacing all existing cameras.
The recorder supports 4 analog camera channels and can accommodate up to 6 IP cameras, with each IP channel supporting resolutions up to 6MP and a maximum incoming bandwidth of 32 Mbps. It supports recording resolutions including 5M-N, 4M-N, 1080P, 1080N, and 720P.
As part of Dahua’s WizSense range, the XVR provides intelligent features including SMD Plus for human and vehicle classification, perimeter protection, and one-channel face recognition on analog video. These features help improve event detection and make searching recorded footage more efficient.
The XVR also supports H.265+/H.265 compression, two-way audio through its RCA audio interface, HDMI and VGA video outputs, network connectivity, USB backup, and a single SATA HDD bay supporting up to 6TB. Its compact 1U design makes it suitable for homes, offices, retail stores, and small-to-medium surveillance installations.
